When we first conceived the idea of the Pelican Café, we envisaged a place where people could come and enjoy not only the food from the world’s best larder, Scotland’s, but also provide you with a chance to try some of the best wines, spirits and beers available in the UK at affordable prices. With this in mind we decided to try something new, to sell our drinks in two ways, at a retail price to take away, or alternatively dine in with a very reasonable corkage charge added. We thought this might help you to enjoy the best quality available, without the normally expensive price tag.
